AfricaScope South Africa, in collaboration with FinMark Trust, successfully concluded a six-day training program for the FinScope MSME Survey in Botswana. Led by experts Bob Currin and Katiso Rachabane, the training equipped 16 supervisors and 72 enumerators with the skills needed for high-quality data collection, set to begin on 2 October2024.
The program included technical instruction, practical skills sessions, and a pilot survey. Key stakeholders, including representatives from the Ministry of Finance and the Bank of Botswana, attended, highlighting the survey’s importance in shaping financial inclusion policies for MSMEs.
