GeoScope Awarded Strategic Project to Review Cape Town Household Survey

GeoScope South Africa has been awarded a project by the City of Cape Town to conduct an independent review of their 2024 Household Survey.

This study, commissioned by the City’s Policy and Strategy Department, aims to strengthen the quality, representativeness, and utility of future household surveys to better inform local government policy and planning.

The review will address limitations of the 2024 survey that will provide insights to guide the refinement of the survey design for the next household survey.

GeoScope has extensive experience in large-scale social surveys and geospatial analytics and has brought together a multidisciplinary team of survey experts, statisticians, and data scientists.

This partnership ensures the technical excellence required for such a complex review but also aligns with the City’s goals of transformation, inclusivity, and evidence-based service delivery.
